As Cisco Fellow, advise senior management of important industry directions and the corporate product strategies they require. IETF Chair during this time, advised Cisco engineers and management on relations with various standards activities including IETF.

Completed port of U of M OSPF; implemented dial control, Express Queuing, Frame Relay interfaces for various protocols. Member of architectural team. Interacted with OEMs, VARs, customers, marketing, and hardware development.

Original TransLAN implementor. Architected and led implementation of TransPATH
